Chefs in Val is a company established by Gregory Tostevin in Val d’Isere, France in 2022.
We provide a luxury tailored service to anyone in Val d’Isere needing a Chef or chalet host -whether it be for a group of people on a self-catered holiday, a chalet owner or a chalet company in need of emergency cover.
With a passion for hospitality and a wealth of experience behind us; we love to pour in our creativity and flare to really raise the bar on the concept of a catered chalet experience.
Greg has lived and worked in Val d’Isere for a total of 8 winter seasons.
His experience and training comes from:
• A 3 year Catering Diploma.
• 6 years; Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
• 18 months; Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx, Paris (2* Michelin).
• 6 months; Pollen Street Social, London (1* Michelin).
• 6 winters; Hip Hideouts, Val d’Isere.
• 3 summers; yachts, villas and private homes.
Anete has worked as a host, chalet manager and resort manager for a selection of chalet companies in the alps, over the last 6 winters.
Her previous experience also includes:
• Working at private villas, gala dinners, celebrity weddings, birthdays and private VIP events across Europe.
• A bachelors degree; Event Management.
• Qualified bartender; 4 week intense cocktail making course completed at the European Bartender School, Paris.
• Professional mixologist; course also completed at the European Bartender School, Paris.
By working in synergy, our Chefs and hosts create a dynamic and effortless atmosphere where attention to detail is key to elevating your experience with us.
We strive to create something truly unique and memorable with all of the luxury of a fine dining restaurant -but within the comfort of your own home.
